WHAT IS CLEAR+BRILLIANT?
Clear + Brilliant is a gentle resurfacing laser designed to reduce fine lines and unsightly dark areas. It does so with minimal downtime and minimal to no discomfort. It takes about 20-30 minutes to do a treatment and has no recovery time. Clear + Brilliant is a fractional laser, meaning it treats thousands of tiny spots and leaves the rest of the skin intact. This maintains the benefit from the laser while decreasing or eliminating any discomfort or recovery time.
WHO ARE GOOD CANDIDATES FOR CLEAR+BRILLIANT?
It is especially suited for younger patients who want to keep their skin looking young and fresh. Although Clear + Brilliant was developed for maintaining young skin, older patients who want to do a gentle reduction in wrinkles or brown spots are also good candidates for the procedure. Finally, those that have had previous cosmetic procedures are can help maintain the benefits using Clear + Brilliant. This include RF (radiofrequency) like Thermage or Legend procedures, injectables like Restylane or Botox and previous resurfacing lasers.
HOW DOES CLEAR+BRILLIANT WORK?
Clear + Brilliant 1440 nm laser to treat thousands of tiny dots in the skin area treated. These areas produce new skin, improving the area of the dots and the surrounding skin. In addition, new collagen is stimulated resulting in smoother, tighter skin over time. Clear + Brilliant not only improves skin tone, but it can also help texture and give a brighter more youthful appearance to the skin.
WHAT IS HAVING A TREATMENT LIKE?
Clear + Brilliant procedure is done in the office and typically uses no medication or anesthesia. The treatments take about 20 minutes. Most people start with 4-6 treatments a few weeks apart. Regular maintenance every 6-12 months is usually recommended after that. Younger people who want to maintain their “look” may begin with regular maintenance only. You will receive mild facial after the procedure. It is also strongly recommended that you wear a 30 SPF or higher sunblock after your treatment (although we recommend that all of the time anyway).
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?
Clear + Brilliant can help your skin feel softer and have improved color and texture. Over time you should notice improvements in wrinkles and skin tightness as well. Improvement can be progressive with repeated treatments.
