How Important Is Trust When Considering Cosmetic Procedures
Trust is an important part of any relationship. It's especially important when it comes to health. That's why Dr. Johnson and his team work hard to make sure Innovations Medical patients are getting the best results from the right cosmetic procedures. In a recent radio interview, Dr. Johnson spoke on the topic of trust. Here is what he had to say.
This is a Stinchfield Report health update with Grant Stinchfield.
GRANT STINCHFIELD: So called med spas are seeing an explosion of growth. One of those is Innovations Medical. Dr. Bill Johnson joins us.
Dr. Bill, what do you attribute your growth to?
DR. BILL JOHNSON: Well, I think the whole area is growing. This year, we’re making up all the ground we lost and starting to look again like we did before things fell off in 2009.
STINCHFIELD: You know, what’s so impressive about your business – and I’ve known you a long time, and I’ve had friends that have used your services – your name is Innovations Medical and, really, you’re always on the forefront of all these new innovations, aren’t you?
DR. BILL: We sure try and that’s one of the things that we spend a lot of our efforts towards. I spend a lot of time looking at the various new up-and-coming things in medicine – which ones have real promise, which ones are smoke and mirrors because there’s some of that out there too. And so, we try to evaluate each thing on its merits, not only on the publish-free search but also does it make sense that this is going to be an effective device or an effective treatment because, sometimes, the published literature lags behind the cutting edge.
STINCHFIELD: And I know it is so important to go with somebody you can trust.
DR. BILL: I think trust with the doctor and with medical services is just essential because people don’t see the same doctors all the time and don’t see the same medical providers all the time. And, in our little bit of world, I’m the only practitioner so they always see me. They get to know me, they get to know our staff, and I think there is a lot of trust that can develop in that setting.
